Join the Omaha Area Youth Organization second annual RACE TO THE HOLLAND, a Halloween Fun Run, which starts at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas St. All proceeds from the event will go toward providing for Omaha Area Youth Orchestras’ 2011-2012 music education programs!
The event will offer walkers and runners a chance to choose from 10K, 5K and 1-mile routes that will take them through some of Omaha’s most beautiful downtown attractions. The race will end at the Holland Center, where participants will enjoy refreshments, live music, a Halloween costume contest and more!
Participants must register by Oct. 7 to guarantee a T-shirt. The registration fee is $30 per person, or $40 per person after Oct. 7.
